Want to offer your ideas about planning a successful lesson plan? How about sharing your tips on writing a great college application essay?

The Future Educators Association® is accepting conference session proposals for the 2012 FEA National Conference from students, advisors, and supporters. FEA, a member of the PDK International family of education associations, is a federally recognized Career and Technical Student Organization. The FEA conference takes place Feb. 17–19, 2012 at the Hilton Baltimore — located next door to the Hyatt Regency — immediately following the PDK/PLT Conference.

Sessions should focus on topics of interest to prospective educators and be designed for an audience of precollegiate and collegiate students. Each conference session will last 60 minutes.

Topics can range from ideas for planning successful fundraising events to tips for securing an education-related internship. Possible session formats include debates, demonstrations, panel discussions, or skill-building workshops. But don’t let these examples restrict your creativity — we’re open to all ideas!

The deadline for submitting an FEA session proposal is 11:59:59 p.m. EDT, Oct. 14, 2011. Submit your session proposal now.
