Did you know that millions of children in low-income neighborhoods are at risk of failing in school before they even start kindergarten?
On Oct. 6, 2011, join more than 2 million others to read Llama Llama Red Pajama by Anna Dewdney and break a world reading record.
Take your support a step further through the We Give Books Read for Our Schools campaign. For each free book read online between now and Oct. 6, the Pearson Foundation will donate a copy of Llama Llama Red Pajama to a participating school district. These donations will enable children who otherwise wouldn’t have the chance to participate in the day’s events.
Through the We Give Books Read for Our Schools campaign, the Pearson Foundation will donate 50,000 books to 150 school districts.
