Pi Lambda Theta is a member of the PDK International family of associations, which includes PDK International and the Future Educators Association. Together, these three organizations support the full spectrum of future and current educators. They are governed by the PDK International Board of Directors.
Established in 1906, PDK is the premier professional association for educators and focuses its work on the tenets of service, research, and leadership. PDK publishes the highly-regarded Phi Delta Kappan, the No. 1 education policy magazine, and sponsors the annual PDK/Gallup Poll of the Public’s Attitudes Toward the Public Schools.
The Future Educators Association is a a federally-recognized Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) that helps thousands of high school students around the world explore education-related careers and develop the skills and strong leadership traits that are found in high-quality educators.
